Font O’Matic 1.0.5 will help you keep track of what your fonts look like. It displays a window with a pop-up menu containing a list of all the fonts currently installed on your system. When you select a font from the pop-up menu, sample text in that font will be drawn in the window and the pop-up’s font changes accordingly. You can also scroll through all available fonts by pressing the space bar.
Once you register your copy you can also change the size and style of the sample text. The standard Macintosh styles are supported: bold, italics, shadow and so on. I leave it running in the background and activate when I want to take a look at my fonts and get a good idea of what effect they produce on real text.
